FISH FARMING PROCESSING IN RONDÔNIA
There are processing plants duly certified (SIE and SIF) in five cities in the State with a total processing capability of 15 tons per day (2006).
FARMING FISH FROM THE AMAZON
- Extensive production systems in private, natural and hydroelectric plants artificial lakes with productivity of 500kg per hectare per year.
- Partly intensive production systems in dam hatcheries with productivity of 8 tons per hectare per cycle.
- Intensive production systems in derivative hatcheries with productivity of 8 to 12 tons per hectare per cycle.
- Hyper intensive production systems in net reservoirs with productivity of 50 to 60 tons per hectare per cycle.
- Partly intensive and intensive production of tambaqui in two annual cycles applying shoal of fish management which enables to double the productivity.
